2 Corinthians 12:7-9: And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
The bible tells us about the story of Paul, who had a thorn in his life, we are not told what Paul's thorn was, but we are aware that Paul cried out to God to take it away but God allowed it.
There are a lot of speculations about what Paul's thorn was but nothing was certain. We are also uncertain why God allowed it in the first place.
So why did God not take away Paul's thorn or why did He allow it in the first place?. Most of us can relate to this question. We must realize that no matter what we may be struggling with, God is always willing to be with us through the struggle as long as we invite Him. The fact that Paul had something he struggled with doesn't mean, God loved him less or God wasn't with him. We must remember that it is at our lowest that we can truly understand the saying "when we are weak, God is strong" this doesn't mean God's strength is not present always, but it means when we are still, we notice we truly cannot do life on our own.
So, do you have a thorn in your life? it could be something you would give anything to change about your life or like Paul, something you continuously cry out to God to change. But through it all, we find strength to carry on despite that thorn.
God may have allowed it, but He certainly will not leave us alone. He will always be with us to direct and strengthen us. And although we view it as a limitation, God certainly has a purpose for it.
God is aware of the thorn in our lives, and He has heard all our prayers concerning it. Today, be reminded that God is always with us and we cannot do life without His help. He is the only One that truly understands what we are going through.
Also, when we change our perspective, we realize that the thorn is not meant to be a limitation but to teach us humility and make us completely dependent and submitted to God.
I pray for that we come to the realization that God is always for us and we surrender ourselves to him. In Jesus Name, Amen.

I believe You died for me and rose again,
I ask that Your precious Blood purify my life.
I ask that You change me, renew me and lead me.
Become my Lord and personal Savior.
Now, I am yours and I am Born Again.
Thank you Lord for saving me. Amen.
