Romans 11:36: For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
As we mature in our walk with God, we become more familiar with His ways and principles. Like with any relationship, when we spend time with the other person, we begin to understand their priorities and how we can fit them into our lives. The same goes for when we are building our relationship with God. When we become closer to God, we learn that His love for His children is His utmost priority. So we must ask ourselves, how can we fit God's ultimate priority in our lives?
I knew God was taking me to a new dimension when I started writing. I was extremely excited because I thought it was all about me, I had no clue that He was preparing me to serve others. Honestly, I might not have obeyed if I had seen the whole picture. And because God knew that, He gave me one instruction after another. And until I fully surrendered, He did not reveal the entire picture. This is God's nature; whenever He calls us, He will not show us the whole picture because He wants to build our faith. After all, it would overwhelm us if we saw the full picture ahead of time. This is because the vision is always bigger than us, and until we "become," we will not understand what God is doing.
When God wants to send us out to our assignment, He usually begins by drawing us closer. He does so because He wants to love on us and teach us what true love means. Also, He wants us to show the same love He showered on us to others.
If we recall the dream Joseph had in the bible, he thought it was for his sole benefit, but God had bigger plans; he wanted to use Joseph to fulfill a greater purpose which involved serving his family.
So whatever project God calls you to work on, remember that it is more significant than you. Yes! You may gain some rewards for your obedience, just like Joseph but at the core of it, it was ordained to reflect God's love for His people.
Therefore, as Christians, we must not be naive about this. God's thoughts and ways are not the same as ours. We can never comprehend the magnitude of God's plans for our lives. But we can trust that as long as we reverence Him, He has the best in stock for us. God wants to use you to bless nations; God wants to use you to bring a radical change on earth. Are you ready to work with Him? Are you prepared to pay forward whatever He blesses you with?
The easiest way to disabuse ourselves of selfish mentality is to remember that nothing in our lives belongs to us, but we are only stewards.
So remember that every time you pray for God to bless you, you are required to use that blessing for His glory.
I understand that some of us have been patient; we love God and are ready to love and serve His people diligently. But we are still waiting on God to bless us. I encourage you today that delay is not denial. God loves you and has not forgotten you. You can bank on His word, press in, and do not lose faith. Your miracle is right around the corner.
I pray for a shift in our hearts to honor God with everything He has given us. May we never be ashamed to declare our love for God here on earth. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Salvation Prayer: If you stumbled on this blog and you do not know this "God" I write about, but you feel a leading in your spirit to learn more. Well, Welcome! God loves you and has led you here for a reason. If you desire to build a relationship with Him, the first step is to say this prayer below:
Lord Jesus, I come today as a sinner.
I know that I have turned away from You several times.
Today, I confess and repent of all my sins,
I believe You died for me and rose again,
I ask that Your precious Blood purify my life.
I ask that You change me, renew me and lead me.
Become my Lord and personal Savior.
Now, I am yours and I am Born Again.
Thank you Lord for saving me. Amen.
Congratulations, the Bible tells us that every time someone gives their life to God, there is a celebration in heaven over that person; you are loved and celebrated at this moment and forever. Amen!
